Thanks to JR Porter for telling us about his recent ice fishing expedition with some friends on Eagle Lake in ME. 
The group set out 14 traps mid morning, all baited with live smelts.
By lunchtime they had not had one flag when JR remembered the BioEdge Smelt Wand he had brought along to try. He went to the first hole and applied some Smelt Wand to a jig and BAM out came an 18" Brookie! Thinking "That was some coincidence!" He reset his trap after dabbing on some BioEdge Smelt Wand along the tail end of the live smelt bait. Within minutes of dropping the bait back down the hole out came another 18" brookie! This prompted him to apply Smelt Wand onto another two traps.
That afternoon he had 10 brook trout from 14 and a half inches to 18 inches, ALL from those three traps with BioEdge scent.
Not one of the other 11 traps had a flag!
